August 11, 2026Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office’s New ‘Auction Search Platform’
The Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office just launched a new online ‘Auction Search Platform’ that allows the public to search upcoming sheriff’s sale properties, review auction information, and access educational resources before participating in a sale. The platform allows users to search properties by sale date, address, auction ID, OPA number, book/writ number, ZIP code, or keyword, view results on a map or in a list, save properties of interest, review auction terms and documents, and access foreclosure prevention resources before linking to the official Bid4Assets website to place bids. The platform does not replace the official auction site but instead serves as a centralized research and education tool that is intended to improve transparency, simplify the sheriff’s sale process, and better prepare prospective bidders.
