The Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts (“HOME”) recently introduced Wholesale Search, a bilingual AI-powered platform that lets mortgage professionals instantly query lending criteria across more than 150 lenders. The tool is designed to support applicants who may lack traditional credit histories or documentation, particularly in Hispanic and immigrant communities. By improving transparency and efficiency, the technology helps expand access to mortgage credit. This AI bilingual tool for home ownership is a development that demonstrates how innovation can reduce barriers to homeownership and promote inclusivity in the housing market.
The platform also powers HOME’s Home Certified training programs which prepare loan officers to navigate (1) compliance, (2) credit analysis, and (3) intercultural communication. Early outcomes show faster loan approvals and improved borrower engagement. While developers note the importance of guarding against misinformation and maintaining accurate data, the rollout signals a growing role for AI in making the mortgage process more equitable.
