Mariya Campbell

Mariya is a dedicated and results-driven attorney with a well-established track record of advocating for clients across all phases of litigation. She brings extensive experience representing municipal and corporate clients in a wide range of matters, such as foreclosure proceedings, creditors’ rights litigation (including FDCPA defense), breach of contract disputes, insurance defense, and complex commercial litigation.

Before joining the firm, Mariya represented mortgage servicer and investor clients in foreclosure, title, and general real estate litigation, as well as in matters involving consumer claims. She also served as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, prosecuting civil actions against individuals and businesses involving government assistance fraud, health code and property violations (including Zombie Law violations), unlicensed and illegal commercial activity, and damage to City property. In addition to her litigation expertise, Mariya has extensive experience enforcing judgments through property executions, working closely with Sheriffs and Marshals to leverage liens on real property.

Mariya is admitted to practice in New York State and in the U.S. District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was a member of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team.
