John J. Ricciardi

John J. Ricciardi is a Senior Trial Counsel at Friedman Vartolo with experience in all aspects of residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, eviction proceedings, surrogate’s proceedings, and commercial litigation since 1995.  John was the first attorney to conduct a “bad faith” hearing in Nassau County after the implementation of CPLR §3408. John’s most notable foreclosure trials resulted in two twenty (20) page decisions in favor of the plaintiff in Kings County and a judgment in favor of the plaintiff for over $1.8 million dollars in Putnam County.  In addition to his trial experience, John also has experience in motion practice and has been successful in drafting and arguing multiple appeals.
