The New Jersey (“NJ”) Judiciary issued its annual notice setting the 2026 post-judgment interest rates under Rule 4:42-11, effective January 1, 2026. This annual publication establishes the uniform statewide rates that govern post-judgment interest calculations on civil money judgments in NJ.
Judgments not exceeding the Special Civil Part monetary limit will accrue interest at 4.5% and judgments exceeding that limit will accrue interest at 6.5%.
