Suffolk County Decision Holds that FAPA Does Not Apply Retroactively
Partner Zachary Gold obtained another positive decision in Suffolk County as the Supreme Court held that the New York Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act (“FAPA”) did not apply retroactively. Defendant’s ancillary defenses regarding lack of jurisdiction were also stricken as unsubstantiated. Zachary’s expertise and dedication continue to ensure that our clients’ interests are protected.
